Good afternoon residents and visitors to Salcombe, Kingsbridge and the surrounding beauty spots.

We have received a number of reports of outboard engines and equipment being stolen from boats.

If you saw anything suspicious on or near the water between 29 and 31 July, particularly in the area of Salcombe Yacht Club, please report it by calling 101 or via the Devon & Cornwall Police website, quoting Occurrence Number 50260201201.

If you witness anyone acting suspiciously or potentially committing an offence, especially during the hours of darkness, please call 999 immediately.
